Re: Loading featured post widget and sidebar first thing

I understand. Thanks Sayontan for the response.

I am wondering if you have any other thoughts regarding possibly making the tabbed sidebar load faster though :D

Loading featured post widget and sidebar first thing

Is there a way to load the featured posts widget and the sidebar before the main content of the page? On my site (www.freewaregenius.com) the featured posts widget is topmost, but users have to wait until the main content below it loads for the widget to start working. Also, the tabbed sidebar widge...

Is it possible to customize the images for featured posts

Hi. My site is www.freewaregenius.com Although I am generally quite happy with the settings for "featured post" image generation, there are a couple of featured post where the image needs to be adjusted, and where the automatic thumbnails misses the mark completely. I know that you can set the setti...

Re: Help. How to strip <script> from Javascript

Sayontan: what I am trying to do is insert into the sidebar an image carousel that someone coded for me, and having a very hard time at it. Help. How to strip <script> from Javascript

This is driving me crazy. I want to add the following Javascript in the header <script type="text/javascript" src="ImageFlowSource/imageflow.js"></script> except Suffusion requires that you strip the <script></script> tags (in blog features > custom includes) (Why oh why is this the case anyway?) an...

Possible to load tabbed sidebar before the rest of the page?

Hi, On my site, Freewaregenius.com, the tabbed sidebar takes a long time to load. The result is that once a visitor lands the tabbed sidebar is "extended" and takes a long time to "collapse", which makes for a very strange sidebar experience. Is there a way to fix this? Can I have the tabbed sidebar...

Influencing "feature post" display order

I added a page as a feature post and was disappointed that the page was listed AFTER all other posts from my "feature" category were displayed. I tried changing the date on the page to most recent, but it didn't work. Is there any way that the featured article from "pages" can be displayed ahead of ...
