Sad to see the best theme disappearing!

Postby Davidoff » 05 Nov 2017, 02:41

This is no bug report, no feature request, no nothing. There's no other place to post these things, not even here
https://mynethome.net/contact/
so be it here now:

Sayontan I find it so sad that a theme search on wordpress.org not even shows suffusion anymore when you search for "suffusion"! Sad that you are not "in the loop" to get in touch with. Sad that even on your own page here
https://aquoid.com/themes/suffusion/
the link under "The best theme..." is dead.

And suffusion is the best theme! Sad that such massive and magnificent theme isn't allowed to get the comments and nw votes and everything it deserves. Very sad.

Well, if you aren't sad about all this, be it so. I just don't want that you are fretting and thinking no one else is.
There will be millions more like me sad that suffusion disappears, can't even be installed from within wordpress themes.... :-(

Just noticed, not even the CHILD THEME SUFFU-SCION link works anymore :(
And google cannot find a single resource where to download it. :(
Sayontan always denied working for money, but if money can't buy back his continuing support of the best theme, then what can?

I know it's the ^&^%$ wordpress developers that anger him. Well, they anger pretty much everybody! :(

Can someone update those download links here?

Hello. We are having trouble witht the Counter plugin messing up the menu layout, by adding padding around menus. https://wpshopmart.com/plugins/counter-numbers-pro/

The Counter plugin authors are looking into it, but probably will not support a defunct theme.

I read somewhere a suggestion to have people crowdfund Suffusion updates. I think many of the existing users, including myself would happily support this. Sayontan we successfully implemented your theme at www.fitamalta.eu and would never like to switch.

Wish you all the best and thank you

Without the theme active we cannot see the problem or suggest solutions. Please activate the theme and we will try to find time to look from where the problem come.

@ Drake.

The Suffusion theme is active at www.fitamalta.eu
I will turn on the plugin. This will add the unwanted spacing all round the drop down menus.

Thanks

Can be solved easily by adding at Suffusion Options -> Backend -> Custom Includes -> Custom Styles:
Code: Select all
#nav a, #nav a:visited {height:initial;}

(but first try to upgrade the theme manually to the latest version from the top of the forum).
