Custom Post Layout

Postby NaomiJ » 12 May 2012, 23:33

Hi Sayontan
I have two custom post types. When I create or edit a custom post, I can not elect a format because the "Additional Options for Suffusion" section does not come up. This means all my custom posts are stuck with the default layout, which really is not great. Alternately I have to change my default layout to one that works for custom posts and manually change all others.

Am I missing something?
Thanks

Yes you are.

Top right of your post edit screen is a "Screen Options" button. Click on it and put a tick in the show additional options for Suffusion.

Thanks Colin, I tried that. It does not appear for custom posts. Pages and posts yes, but custom posts, no.

Not sure why you are posting this as a bug report - this is more of a feature request. Sidebar layouts are currently not supported directly for single CPTs.
