I'm using Suffusion ver. 4.2.6 and am missing the date of post showing up under the posts, especially under pages. Leaving out the date ist okay for post types which also have a date box, but some post types like pages don't have this.
Is it a bug or a feature? How can this behaviour been altered?

Check your Post and Page Bylines option is the only thing I can suggest without the url.

Found the setings by myself under Suffusion Options -> Other Graphical Elements -> Post And Page Bylines
