Reports about issues that you encounter in Suffusion
Forum rules
1. No offensive language and no mocking
2. Please do a thorough search before you post something. Trust us, there is a high probability that the question you are asking has been asked previously.
3. No soliciting. You cannot post here soliciting bids for people offer you quotes, or even offer money to people for some work. You will be moderated if you do so. If you are looking for help, please post your request on http://jobs.wordpress.net or http://codepoet.com
4. Please be reasonable. You are getting software and support. For free. Complicated requests from a general purpose theme are not welcome and some volunteers might lose patience with you.
5. Please do your due diligence. If you posted a query and we answered with a link, take the trouble to go through the link contents.
6. Please post with complete information. Requests for help MUST be accompanied with your URL, particularly if you are asking something like "Why am I seeing a blank space?"

I found it funny, but I did not want to offend ;=)

The described situation is like putting very very big concrete blocks in a bookshelf and wondering that the shelf breaks ;=(

Thank you Sayontan.

Yes it was a lousy idea, that's why I put this icon >
You didn't notice it?

Anyway, I posted this to Sayontan, not to you Connie. I don't see where you stand here, maybe you should stop being annoying and mind your own business and leave Sayontan to answer questions as some people who seek help here don't have good knowledge of "website editing".

You are not helping. You are annoying.

I suggest you stop answering posts unless you could give a direct answer like Sayontan's(not giving comments in attempt to humour readers or boot-lick him, I know his theme is great, but, please :)).

I've asked him a couple of other questions on the old support area and GMail chats/Facebook chat without any problems(Thanks again for your time Sayontan).

I've seen you answering other people's post and it's not helping some people who is a total newbie like me.

Knowledge are meant to be shared, right? Not to be laughed at, or made fun of, if people are seeking help.

Also, let me remind you that this is a support forum.
People came here for support regarding Suffusion Theme made by Sayontan.

Connie: Your presence here is definitely not necessary.

OK, folks, time for an intervention!
We haven't had any unpleasantness in this forum before this and I would love to keep it that way! So from now on let us please try and follow some basic guidelines:
  1. People with different levels of experience come here for help. What may appear very easy for one person might not be so for another. So please be graceful when you are explaining something, and if you are annoyed with a request, keep your response really short (like one line long) so that you avoid saying something unpleasant.
  2. No mocking. What is funny for an American might appear rude to an Indian. Please be mindful of international boundaries and communication barriers while you write.
  3. No absurd requests for help. Folks seeking help have to understand that the people offering any kind of support on the forum are very few in number (3-5 at the most) and work for free. So ask yourself a few times before requesting a new feature, if the theme should really support it. Often you will find that there exists a plugin for the same activity and all that maybe required is for the theme to support the plugin - that is a much simpler task than implementing new features from scratch.

I don't do freelance work (for Suffusion or otherwise), so please don't contact me for quotes or offers.
