We built a new website last weekend using the Suffusion theme, which we were delighted to find. We're writers, not coders, and we love being able to set the look and style without going into code. This is our site: http://livingonthecheap.com. We are using the magazine template.
We did the upgrade from 4.0.4 to 4.0.5 today and ended up with several odd problems we can't figure out how to solve:
1) When we try to upload images to a post, the Additional Options for Suffusion/Magazine Settings appears on top of the box where you upload the photo. We can still upload photos if we scroll up out of the overlay. I published some screen shots http://livingonthecheap.com/test/.
2) When you call up a post, the apostrophes in headlines have been replaced by ’. When you look at the list of posts, they appear normal.
From the readers' standpoint, the site seems normal, and we have not discovered other problems, but we're wondering if somehow that small update disturbed one of our settings. I know that when I did the last WP update on my site with the Graphene theme, those ’ symbols appeared and disabled the feed, and I ended up having to cut and paste a page of replacement code.
We don't have any idea where to look for a solution to this problem, so we hope someone can help us.
Thanks.
Teresa
