Jigoshop issue

Postby marieaimee » 01 May 2012, 20:43

Hello,
Not sure if this is a theme-based problem or not. This happens when I 'Add to Cart'.
Fatal error: jigoshop_cart::get_cart_from_session() [<a href='jigoshop-cart.get-cart-from-session'>jigoshop-cart.get-cart-from-session</a>]: The script tried to execute a method or access a property of an incomplete object. Please ensure that the class definition &quot;jigoshop_product&quot; of the object you are trying to operate on was loaded _before_ unserialize() gets called or provide a __autoload() function to load the class definition in /home/marieaim/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jigoshop/classes/jigoshop_cart.class.php on line 66

I posted this on the JigoShopForum and they said it might be a theme issue however, before I start un-installing Suffusion, i'd really like to make sure I won't lose all the hard work i've put in...

Thank you!

I really, seriously doubt it, mainly because this has never come up so far. The Suffusion Commerce Pack has been alive for a few months now, and the JigoShop module has not changed in all this time. JigoShop on the other hand has had a few versions, and for all you know, this might have something to do with one of their later versions conflicting with the theme.

As of now this isn't something I can replicate, so I am afraid I cannot help you.

There isn't any bug with "Add to Cart" nor in Suffusion nor in latest version of Jigoshop. You can check at http://www.rembrandthoeveamsterdam.nl, the site where I'm working now - there are the latest versions of everything. For Jigoshop is also installed admin bar extension, I-Deal Payment and Multicurrency converter. The "Add to Cart" option works even if you choose any language for shop. For http://www.dullies.nl/index.php/shop/smellies-2/, the same, no problem with "Add to cart". Even without Suffusion Commerce Pack, but only with Suffusion, Jigoshop and my templates the "Add to Cart" works without problems at http://www.hidroizolez.ro.

So, or you have another plugin which are conflicting with Jigoshop, or can be a problem with the php memory limit or other setting on your server.

This is the reply I got on the jigoshop forum, from a user:
The error appears when viewing the an unrelated plugin in the backend, it does not appear in the front end. It only appears when there are items in the shopping cart.

So I think it I'll just live with it for now!

Hello all,
just curious if there was a resolution to this issue. I am having the exact same problem but different line number #349. I am using all current releases of the Suffusion, Jigoshop and Suffusion Commerce.

The only way I could get my site back was to deactivate and delete the Jigoshop plugin. Does this have anything to do with using child themes perhaps?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Cheers
Greg

Maybe on Jigoshop Forum you can have more luck. As OP said above, this is a issue of Jigoshop, unrelated to Suffusion or Suffusion Commerce Pack.
