Header Foreground Image properties

I try to follow the practice of always making the logo in the header a link to the home page of the site, but I can't find a way of doing this using the header forground image. I can't see how to add alt text, title or caption to it, either.

So much in Suffusion is configurable that I may just have missed this, but if it really isn't there then could it be added please?

Your header foreground image is linked to your home page by default. Isn't it working for you?

Something I don't seem to be able to do is to adjust the height of that image. It seems to come too low. I expect I could adjust it using the stylesheets, but the height of the header background image can be set in the control panel, so why not the foreground image (or for that matter, the header text, since they seem to use the same style class)?

Well, the height is for the #header page element, assuming you are referring to the "Height of the Header image" option under "Sizes and Margins". Your blog title etc go into that element. You can change its height to suit your requirements, particularly if you are using an image. There is no option to change the .blogtitle page element (which is used by your blog title), but you can do so in the "Custom Styles" section using the following syntax:
