I would love to see the same thing. Plus, I would like to be able to add Archives as well.

thats a cool option.

But I would like to have a separate page each for Category & Archives.
How is that possible?

The problem with this request is that there is no real-estate at the top to add all these things. Plus I see behavioral issues with the standard WordPress calls for excluding selected categories and pages. For pages I managed to resolve this, but it was not an easy process.

You can try this - in your widgets administration page you will see a definition for a "Right Header Page". You can add the "Categories" or the "Archives" widgets to this widget area and in the configuration of these widgets display them as "dropdown".

Vasanthan,
If you set up permalinks from Settings -> Permalinks, you will be able to get prettier URLs for Categories and Archives.

See this post: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks . You have to configure Apache appropriately.

yeah was browsing through that page, thank you anyways for the link.

and actually am not looking for putting up the page links for Categories and Tags. By default it is like we are able to click on any of the category and the corresponding post is listed down in a page, isn't it, am planning something like when we click on the title of the Category widget it should go to a page which shows the entire Category list.

Like in somewhere I saw a button for Archives on the top menu and when we click on it it leads to a page with the entire Archives of that blog, so something similar is what am looking for.

might sound crazy or stupid but am sorry about that :)

Oh, okay - I understand your point. I do plan to provide this feature soon.
Don't know how long you have been tracking this theme, but I have been adding a lot of features to it since the beginning (almost daily!!). This particular feature is taken care of using a "template". If you go to a "New Page" screen in WordPress with Suffusion, you will see something called "Templates" on the right. The drop-down will currently show you "Blog Authors" and "No Sidebars". I need to create a similar one for "All Categories".

I've just recently started with Wordpress, and hence its just been couple of days since I've seen your theme, but heard and read a lot about it and also liked it a lot since it gives a lot of customization from the admin panel itself. Would be nice of you could bring up that option for Category, Tags and Archives.

honestly what are these "Templates" - "Blog Authors" and "No Sidebars" for what exactly is their purpose, I don't get that at.

WordPress supports some default pages - that is how it understands which php file to use for which purpose. E.g. category.php is used if you are pulling up all the records for an individual category, tag.php is used if you are pulling up all records for an individual tag etc. If any of specific PHP file is not present, the default index.php file is used. See this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Hierarchy .

WP doesn't support anything yet for a page that shows all categories. However that doesn't stop us from building such functionality. And this is achieved using templates. E.g. there is no default WP functionality to show all blog authors that you have on your blog, but the "Blog Authors" template I have provided lets you create a page with all blog authors. Similarly, since you might want sidebars on one page and no sidebars on another, you might want to make use of the "No Sidebars" template. In a similar manner I have to define a template that will show you all categories, which you will be able to pick.
