Show-Off: Portal based on suffusion

Postby miguael » 24 Feb 2010, 08:23

***I don't find the show-off anymore, so I post here - just move it, whereever it belongs...***

Wanted to share a bit, what is possible with suffusion. I really customized the ... out of it. It is just a GREAT starting point!!! Thanks sayontan. I refreshed our whole Webportal for youthministry at http://www.young-people.ch

Most of it (example http://www.young-people.ch/information) is based on suffusion. Only the community (Buddypress) and the Startpage is something different.

The credit is a bit longer in the "impressum".

Thanks again!!!!

PS: I just updated another page with your theme here: http://www.o2-online.ch - people already love it alot more than the old one (altough I couldn't resolve the resizing of the featured-content, yet...)

PS2: Feedback is welcome :-)

@asaa
Hmmmm - hard question. I didn't do anything special. Just what is already built in the theme. It is only changed css... although sometimes pretty brutal changes :-)
If you ask specifically, I maybe can give a specific answer (although I cannot promise it...)

I've been reading about how to, and tried to add 3 columns, there is my major issue. It doesn't work.
Now, your page http://young-people.ch/information/ have exact the layout I want, at least the upper part.

This is a widget area. I told this widget area to have three columns - that's it. Pretty easy. But maybe that is not what you want to do...
