Get rid of unsightly extra image border in Firefox?

Postby reyhoward » 18 Apr 2012, 13:40

Howdy all. Re http://octav.net/2012/04/12/alp-brochure/: In Firefox only (not in Safari or Chrome), an unwanted border shows up near the top-right corner of each of the images on each of the three pages of the post. On the first page, it's the width of the image margin away from the image; on the second and third pages, there is no image margin so it touches the desired border. Note: Currently, image float is set to left. If I set it to center or to none, a more obvious unwanted border shows up at the bottom of each image, and not only in Firefox.

Does anyone have any ideas how to keep it from showing up at all?

As always, many thanks in advance for any guidance. =^)

You do have some markup issues. E.g. you forgot to close the <a> for the "Print composition ..." piece. Not sure if that is causing your problems, but it is worth fixing anyway.

Thanks for pointing that out. Didn't solve the Firefox problem, though.
