tile layout in category view

Hi
Just done a template update and having a few issues

1. the tile layout is not giving 3 thumbnails per row - even though this is specified in the template
Layout: Excerpt / List / Tile / Mosaic / Full
set to 3 per row at 200x200

2. How do I get rid of the margin on the footer - I have added an image via a table to the site-footer.php (or could you provide a better way to add a border image here?)
I have in the css
#page-footer { margin-top: 0px; overflow: hidden;}

3. We would prefer to have the featured image working on the category pages - I can see this can be enabled in the featured image theme options but how to you control the images so only the images show for a chosen particular category when selected via the menu?

4. I upgraded as I was having problems whenever I try to add plugins (getting a white screen). I have done all the things like start with a clean plugins folder and add them one by one to see which plugin is causing a problem but its always different plugins and when I switch theme I am not getting these problems - I see other posts on this but cannot sort it out - I read it can be white spaces etc do you know of any conflicts here?

At this point there seems to be some kind of an issue on your site - the style.css in the suffusion folder still is the file from 3.9.6. So either your upgrade hasn't happened properly, or you have replaced the new stylesheet with an old one manually. Unless you use the new stylesheet things will not work.
