I have been away for the weekend so hence my lack of response.

Your code is no good for what you want. You have no-repeat for example and you want it to repeat, you have inset it from the left hand side of the page but I thought that is where you wanted it.

One problem you have is that the visitors to your site will have different screen resolutions and so as a result you need something that looks good at all resolutions. To do that you need to start dabbling in javascript and that is beyond my skill set.

This is what I thought you wanted

If this is not what you want please try re-describing it. The purple can of course be any colour that you like.

Colin~

Thank you for your reply and your assistance.
No worries re: the delayed reply.

1- I wanted to create a margin of white space on either side of the black background ~ similar to the
white space on the right sidebar/widgets. That does not seem like a simple task ~ skip it.

2- Yes...I would like to change the color to black if you are cool w/ taking the time/effort to create another graphic.
I especially like the white space/margin between the color and the text. It looks awesome. Nice work.

Know that I am grateful fo your time and assistance.

Thank you!

Here is another background.

Go to Suffusion Options > Skinning > Body Background and set as in my earlier post. Don't forget to set custom styles and repeat vertically only. Be aware of the limitations that I mentioned as to large and small screens.
