Nav Menu into Footer

Postby Borg9 » 22 May 2012, 13:59

Hi!
Thank you for the theme, it's really great!!!
I am having a few issues, wondering if someone can help me out.
My client's site is here:
http://garyahlskog.com/
I would like to copy the top nav bar and display it in the dark blue part of the footer as well. I would like to display both, the top one in the header that's there now and the bottom one in the footer. How do I copy it into the footer?
Another issue that I am having is that after I reflresh the page a few times, the background of the footer dissapears.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Lara

There is no provision to display the menu in the footer at this point.

Thank you for the answer.
I also can not see my author page. Every time I click on "Posted by "Name", it takes me to the homepage.
Is there any way to remedy that?

If you have a URL that isn't going where it should, this is probably due to an issue with permalinks. Try re-saving your permalinks from Settings -> Permalinks.

Thank you. I will try to do that. If it ok, I would like to ask another question about the issue I am having:
I have added the following into the custom includes css:
h1, h2, {
font-family: MonikaItalic;
color: #3c3b3b;
text-align: center;

}

It worked good and the headings were centered on the pages, but then it suddenly stoped working and no matter what I do in the custom css, it doesnt reflect the changes on the website. Please please help!!!
The heading in this page is "hypnosis" and it's supposed to be centered: http://garyahlskog.com/hypnosis/

Go and edit the Hypnosis page, look at Additional Options of Suffusion below the edit area and deselect "Do not display the page title".

I have it selected for a reason. I need some of the titles to be different than from what is on the navigation menu. That's why I have it selected. Do you have any other suggestions? Actually, anything I specify in the additional CSS is not affecting the page anymore. I don't know what the problem is.

I need some of the titles to be different than from what is on the navigation menu.

For that there is an option, under Additional Options for Suffusion -> General Settings -> Page Title in Dropdown Menu. You can set a different title in the drop-down menu from the actual page title.

Actually, anything I specify in the additional CSS is not affecting the page anymore.

That is because of CSS syntax errors:
Code: Select all
h1,  h2, {
      font-family: MonikaItalic;
      color: #3c3b3b;
      text-align: center;

}

h1.posttitle,
h2.posttitle, {
   color: #3c3b3b;
        font-size: 200%;
        border-bottom: none;
        font-weight: normal;

}

You shouldn't have commas after h2 and h2.posttitle.
