Having Problems with Nav Bar Drop Down Menu...

Postby ThaiAnimalSanctuary » 29 May 2012, 20:25

I can't seem to enable drop down menus for each of the options on my nav bar. The only drop down menu option I've found that works is when I enable Categories and Pages, though I will be taking these off the nav bar as I don't need them there. I would like pages such as 'Adopt a Dog' and 'Sponsor a Dog' to come under 'Adopt / Sponsor a Dog' and for pages like 'Awareness' and 'Campaigns' to come under 'What we do' as they do now in the pages drop down menu.

Can anyone offer any help? Thanks

Appearance -> Menus. Name a menu. Select from the left panels desired Links / Pages / Categories. Arrange them by drag and drop in center panel. (For a submenu item drag a little to the right the desired element). Save. On the top left panel assign your new menu either as Navigation Bar Below Header or Above Header. Save this panel too.
That's it. Go to frontend and see your new menu, arranged by you, as you wish.

(If some items appear doubled, go to Suffusion Options -> Other Graphical Elements -> Navigation Bar Below Header, scroll down to the Pages / Categories / Links in Navigation Bar and select "Exclude All, ignoring next option" for each of these.)
