I created a duplicate page template copied from the Page of Posts template (posts.php).
The only difference so far is that my version of Page of Posts shows only posts of the type Vehicle. Everything else is the same.
What I want to do is have Page of Posts display bylines in the pullout format. Thing is, If I do this in Other Graphical Elements -> Post and Page Bylines, then the bylines format also changes on my index page.
So, how do I manually edit posts.php to show pullout bylines without affecting how bylines display on my index page?

Have you tried using the Custom Post Type Archive template?
