Query Post Plugin - Don't want any thumbnails

Postby greeneagle2010 » 10 Jul 2012, 05:10

Hello,

I think I have a simple problem, but, no matter what I try, I cannot get rid of thumbnails next to my posts when using the Query Post Plugin. I have gone to "Other Graphical Elements -> Miscellaneous -> Disable all Thumbnail generation" and saved my settings. When I refreshed, I got the full pictures instead of thumbnails! It looks like it is fetching the first image available and posting it as a full image next to the post title. Also, if this helps, I am not using "Featured Images" at all. I just insert images directly into the post.

A simple solution to my problem would be if in the options of Query Posts under "Post Display Style" there was an option for "Title and Full Post Only"

Please help me! Thank you in advance!

You can hide the thumbnails by custom CSS added at Suffusion Options -> Backend -> Custom Includes -> Custom Styles. The code will look like:
Code: Select all
#suf-cat-posts-XXX div.suf-widget-thumb {display:none;}

Because you don't provide your URL you will need to find yourself, with Firebug or Inspect Element, the number represented by XXX.

Thanks! This works perfectly!

Since I've started working with Wordpress, I'm continually amazed by the power of Suffusion and the generosity of people such as yourself and of course Sayontan who take time out of their day to help others!

Thanks again!
