I have no idea if this problem is Suffusion related.
I am attempting to get WPTouch (mobile theme) to work. It does for the most part, except I find something weird.
My setup is as follows:
Wordpress 3.4.1
Suffusion 4.2.5
Magazine Layout
Backend: Settings/Reading: Front page displays as: A static page (Front Page name is 'Front' | Posts Page name is 'Posts)
On a desktop, everything works fine. For WPTouch, I have to tell the plugin what to display. I chose to display the page Posts. When a user on a mobile phone goes to my website, they should see the 'Posts' page, which should simply be a page of posts. That is what happens, however, not all the posts show up on that page. Some recent posts are missing.
I played around with it then decided to see what that page looks like on my desktop. I loaded the page and, sure enough, it looks the same on my desktop as on a mobile phone. Some posts are missing.
Site: peachlandnews.com
Posts: peachlandnews.com/posts
What do I mean? If you go to my home page, you will see a bunch of stories in the 'Headline' section of the magazine template. From the top down, we'll call them Post #1, 2, 3... If you go to peachlandnews.com/posts, you should see the same stories, in the same order, listed on the page. You don't. What you see is Post #1, followed by Post #10. After that, the posts that do show up seem just as random.
I cannot figure out for the life of me why this page is not displaying all posts, from most recent backwards. It is like Wordpress is sorting the posts to display in some unknown manner. It is not just posts from one category being displayed or one tag.
To make it worse, it appears that most, if not all, of the posts that do show up on the peachlandnews.com/posts are Sticky posts, however not all Sticky posts show up on that page.
I am truly lost. What could possibly be interfering with the proper display of posts on that page?
Any insight will be appreciated.
