One problem has now escalated to two problems.
1st I have lost my home page.
I enabled slider and made a featured image but it had "Home" with a black background over the top of the featured image.
So I trashed the page to start again. Now when I add the new home page to my menu the url is http://www.kiwilodge.org/home
So how do I find or get my original index? page back please.
And how do I get rid of the black banner with home writen across the featuered image.
Driving me nuts

When setting up my home page to be static and my NEWS page to be posts.. There is no home page on the list ...I f I create a new Home page then I get two home pages showing up.
I have just started setting this site up do I need to reinstall WP and start over?
