Drop Down Menu Display Horizontal Not Vertical

I been searching and trying to find out how to get the drop down menu (see "Hardware" on site) to be displayed as a horizontal menu and not a vertical menu. (So the dropped down menu will displayed like the main navigation menu: horizontally) I know there is a breadcrumb option (which I also have enabled) that displays something similar above a page, but this question is more of how it gets displayed as a drop down menu when using the navigation bar.

Thank you in advanced who may know if this is possible and how it can be achieved using the custom CSS facility.

I am also looking to change my drop down menu from the 'Home' page into a horizontal menu to look more like a regular business website.

I too am trying to get this effect on my suffusion based site.

I've been through the different available options and it looks like this is not available natively by the theme. Although I suppose with enough effort a CSS override can achieve this. I've tried a few things, such as what is suggested here:

But I'm guessing there is a lot of CSS that Suffision pulls in that overrides this and does it the vertical way.

Anyone been able to get any success with this?
