Image of header is not clickable

Post by johanx2 » 15 Nov 2012, 16:58

Hi, does anybody now why the image of my header is not linking to the main of my webpage ? It seems like by default there was an image and a text, I removed the text (now it appears at the bottom of the page, by the way, that text does link to the main page) Ok, so now I have on my header a big image 1000x85, and I need it clickable, so it can take you to the main of my site. How can I do that ? Thanks.

I would like to know how to do this too please. It doesn't seem to be clickable by default.

The header background cannot be linked, instead if you use the header foreground, that gets linked.

Go to Suffusion Options > Skinning > Header ... and use the Header Forground Image instead of the Header Background Image.

1. Suffusion Options -> Skinning -> Header -> Header Foreground Image Type - set "Use a predefined image or logo". Below, at "Header Foreground Image" upload your image.
2. Suffusion Options -> Other Graphical Elements -> Header -> Blog Title / Header Alignment, check to NOT have "Hidden" selected.
3. Appearance -> Header, TICK " Show header text with your image." and make sure that you have a color selected below.

Can't be right when you add codes without knowing for what.

At Suffusion Options -> Backend -> Custom Includes -> Custom Styles you have added:

Code: Select all

#header {min-height:0;height:0;}
.blogtitle {height:95px;}
#nav {position:relative;z-index:1;}
First definition just kill your header, you can add anything there, is forced to have 0 height, so, don't exist. The second fix the blog title (including your image) at 95 px. The third put the image beyond the navigation bar (even if it is transparent the navigation bar will stay in front of header so, part of image will not be clickable). I suggest to start by erasing all definitions from Custom Styles. The image will be clickabile. Then we can adjust positions of elements in the right way, to look like now but in a functional way.
