I posted this here, http://wordpress.org/support/topic/your-page-does-not-use-xhtml-mobile-profile?replies=1 and released I better post on the suffusion site. Sorry about that.

My question is:

I just went life with my site based on your excellent suffusion theme. Thanks!

I have been testing it for mobile compatibility at: http://ready.mobi/ and get a few mistakes, but the one below is what I want to ask about.

XHTML-MP should be used as the default markup for your pages. Use of XHTML-MP ensures that your pages will work on the widest variety of mobile devices as well as on desktop browsers. The following graph shows how XHTML-MP is supported by the overwhelming majority of mobile browsers.

Is this easily fixed in suffusion, and if so how?

Or if not any tips on how to fix this?

Any other tips as to how to make it al more mobile friendly?

Thanks.

Not possible without a major re-write of core code.

I don't understand why you would want to, Suffusion is an HTML 5 theme and all main-stream mobile browsers run HTML5.

Have you enabled the responsive options?

Hi Colin thanks.

Have you enabled the responsive options?

yes!

Sorry for the delay I did not get an email that you posted.

First of I am not to good at code etc. as said when I check my site with http://ready.mobi/ I get this (among other) errors. so I thought this is important. however you are saying it is not, correct.

maybe you should check a suffusion site to see the errors you get around this. alternatively have a look at mine to see what it throws up.

PS would you say that the theme in general is completely fit for mobile devices?

Check this site on your "tester" http://ready.mobi/results.jsp?uri=http% ... cale=en_EN - Looks like yours?

Anyway, we are tens or hundreds of thousands of Suffusion users who just make responsive sites which works regardless of what some "testers" says...
Plus, Suffusion use HTML5 which is the actual standard of W3C and for sure will not be downgraded to XHTML.
