Custom Post Type in Query Posts Widget?

Hi

So, I'd like to list the last 3 testimonials in a sidebar widget, but testimonials are a CPT as I didn't want them part of the blog...

Is there any way to get them to display? The Query Posts widget at present only allows me to choose from Categories...

I had a similar need with a custom post type and have today found that the Query Posts plugin, which provides a second widget called Query Posts, gave me the results I needed. The page is: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/query-posts/. It offers many other options too.
