However, the widget refuses to overlap the foreground image. I've removed the foreground logo for now as it isn't too important to me, but would there be a way to have the slideshow underneath the logo?
With some custom CSS adressing the z-index of elements, MeteorSlides can be over the logo or below... But I can't say more because I can't see any slideshow or logo on your site. If you simply wish the logo below, you can use it as headerbackground at Suffusion Option -> Skinning -> Header and then the slideshow will be over it.
I have installed the Meteor slider which works very well but when placed as a header widget it appears below the header foreground image, as in vertically on the page. What I would like is to have the slider as a headerbackground so that the foreground image floats in front of it.
Right now the Meteor slider always places itself vertically below the header foreground image. (the 'Credence' logo on the purple strip at the top left is the foreground image, in skinning the background image is currently set to 'none' )
I know what you mean about the z index but I don't know where to set this.
