Adding Splash/Landing page to existing site?

Postby KellyAZ » 14 Apr 2012, 15:12

Hello - I have an existing Suffusion site at http://leeannbrady.com. It is well indexed by the search engines. Now, I need to have people coming to the site get an popup or splash page that lets them identify whether they are a "Patient" or a "Doctor". If Doctor, the go to the existing front blog page at http://leeannbrady.com. If they choose "patient", I'll send them to a totally different website.

I'm not sure how to do this without either messing up the front page or negatively impacting the search engine indexing if I change the front page. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Kelly

A different idea might be to have a small but prominent link for patients. This could be on the menu-bar, or something floating outside the main content (like the "Save / Reset" button in the back-end options).

I don't do freelance work (for Suffusion or otherwise), so please don't contact me for quotes or offers.
