Delete unsightly white shell area

I posted an image of the titanic in my header but this has created a white shell area above my main content area that I cannot get rid of. Can anyone tell me where I have gone wrong and how to get rid?

Do you mean the white border?

If so put this in Suffusion Options > Back-end > Custom Includes > Custom Styles

No - if you look at the home page of my site you will see a massive white area above the main content - this does not appear on any other pages and I want to get rid of it. I tried your CSS code but that did n't do anything.

You enabled Featured Content, but didn't put anything in there. Either put some posts in there, or disable the featured content (from Other Graphical Elements -> Featured Content)
