I know that you can change the body background color, but is there an easy way to make it transparent without complicated coding? I'm new to wordpress but have a basic knowledge of html and css.

Sure, you can do this in the "Custom Styles" option of the "Custom CSS, JavaScript and RSS" options. Can you provide me the URL of your blog and tell me what it is that you want to change?

What I'm trying to do is make the gray background color transparent and get rid of the border around it as well, so that you can see the background image.

I realize that it wouldn't look very good with what I have now, but it's just a test image.

In your "Custom Styles" option in "Custom CSS, JavaScript and RSS" put in:

Code: Select all
#wrapper {
        background: transparent;
        border: none;
}
