I just updated to 4.07 and now my Home page is a mess. Previously, it had the yellow slider with 5 rotating posts and then, below that, my static home page content. Now, my static content is gone and the page is displaying 3 blog posts below the slider, and I can't figure out how/where/why it is getting them from.
In Featured Content, I have the first page slider enabled and specified for 5 posts. All views (category, tag, etc.) are marked to disabled. Under "what to show" I have all categories enabled except for "uncategorized," however, one of the posts that is being displayed is from the uncategorized category.
Can someone please tell me how to restore my Home page?

Edit: I just turned off "show latest posts" so the only thing that should display on my home page are sticky posts, however, nothing has changed. I also deleted the uncategorized post because it was not appropriate for display. I need to know how to fix my theme options to exclude uncategorized posts for the future.

My website has done exactly the same. The front page is now showing some random posts of mine and the sidebars are showing up. I have no idea why this is happening www.darkdesigngraphics.co.uk

Under your featured content settings, set it to shw duplicate posts

That worked - thank you. But can you explain why? I would have thought that showing duplicate posts would have done just that -- shown a post both in the slider and down below.

I was wondering if you were having the same problem as me, my homepage is now showing random posts instead a static page I set up. All the settings I have set to show the static page but it is still showing random posts from my blog?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you try the fix sayontan posted? It seems to have worked for me.
