Custom field in category view?

Postby Martinl276 » 23 Apr 2012, 12:27

Hello

I would like to display the value from a custom field in the posts categories view. Here is my URL: http://www.betgazette.co.uk/category/football-premier-league/, I would like to display it either next to the post title or within the post byline.

I have found various threads on Wordpress which say adding <?php the_meta(); ?> within the archive.php will display the custom field value. However, Suffusion doesn't have this archive.php file, so where would I need to include it instead and whereabouts in that file would I need to insert this code for it to display correctly?

Thanks in advance
Martin
