Non-widgets appearing in Sidebars

Postby elatorre » 24 Apr 2012, 10:03

I have items showing up in y sidebars and I don't know how they got there nor how to remove them. Specifically:

Links
Archives

These items show up in my widgets as being inactive. When I look through all the sidebars, these widgets are not listed. I don't know how to remove them from my sidebar.

Also, the meta box includes far more than I'd like it to; is there a way to edit it? I would also prefer not to include the post count in categories but this is another entry in the sidebar that does not exist in my active widgets.

Suffusion Options -> Sidebars -> Sidebar 1 -> Default widgets for first sidebar. Switch off the widgets there.

There isn't. You can use a text widget instead, and provide links for whatever you want to offer.

If you add a category widget to the sidebar after doing the first step above, you will be able to control this.
