after some recent updates the posts in my magazine template are not appearing ordered by date anymore
I am looking under the Template > Magazine options but I don't see anything about dates... how can I restore the behavior I had before?

interestingly, when I disabled the "Featured Content" from the home page this problem was fixed!
Don't know why, this might be a bug in Suffusion?
Basically having "Featured Content" AND showing Excerpts would mess up the ordering of the excerpts... strange
This is resolved for me but if Sayontan has reason to believe there might a bug and needs help debugging I'll be happy to help

Something happened in 4.0.7 that messed up Featured Content + static pages big time. Most issues got sorted out by allowing duplicate posts, but you are right. This needs fixing, and I will work on it during the weekend.

wow strange... I guess that's why that weird dup post fix you had me do in the other support request I had fixed it, although I had no idea why that would apply...
