So each page would have 2 columns and might have up to 4 custom layout widgets in it, and each custom widget layout would have a few text widgets inside it. as per the home page link above
So here is my thinking;
If I could add more and rename the custom layout widgets it would really make editing content easier as I (and others who would be updating content in their widget area) would then look for homepage-col1left-top or homepage-col2-rightbottom etc. instead of hunting through custom layout area 1 ......
I hope that makes sense -- spent a while wondering how to phrase the question clearly.
