Hide post from home page but not category page?

Howdy all. I've searched the forum and the plug-ins to no avail. Is it possible to edit the settings for a particular post so that it does not show up on the home page (http://www.octav.net/), but does show up on the page for the post's category (e.g., http://octav.net/category/gallery/) -- while allowing other posts in that category show up in both places? The post IDs in question are 1349 and 1357.

That was quick (to any CSS newbies like myself, the Firebug plug-in for Firefox is a miracle for answering this sort of question):

Code: Select all
body.home div#post-1349 {
     display: none;
     }
body.home div#post-1357 {
     display: none;
     }

You might want to use a plugin such as Simply Exclude for performance reasons.
