Override excerpts ul list style?

Can someone please tell me how to style ul lists in magazine excerpts? I've tried modding: .suf-mag-excerpt-text li, ul.suf-mag-excerpt-text li, and variations of .suf-mag-excerpt and still can't override Suffusion stripping the styles from excerpts. (No URL as I'm building on a local host.) What am I missing?

Maybe I should rephrase this question: How can make my lists show up with bullets and indents in Magazine excerpts?

Suffusion doesn't strip styles from excerpts - WP does that. If you want your excerpts to preserve their original format, you can use manual excerpts instead of the automatic excerpts.
