General questions on how to do things using Photonic

Picasa questions

Postby ridintherange » 10 May 2012, 07:26

I've enabled the Photonic plugin and connected it to a public gallery to display the photos. But when you click on a photo, it doesn't load in a lightbox. Rather the photo itself just opens up in the browser window. How do I get it to load in a lightbox?

Also, is it possible to get the photo description from Picasa to display along with the photo when it does load in a lightbox?

There is probably a conflict with another plugin causing Lightbox issues. If you provide me with a link I can help troubleshoot.

Currently only the title of the photo is pulled while displaying it in a lightbox plugin.

I'd really appreciate that. I'll send it to you via a PM.

Looks like you haven't picked a slideshow library for Photonic (Settings -> Photonic -> Generic Options -> Generic settings -> Slideshow libraries). You need either Colorbox, Fancybox or PrettyPhoto there.
