Add "class" action to shortcode

Postby rtcjonathan » 16 May 2012, 06:37

Is it possible to add a "class" action to the shorcode? My current Wordpress theme is treating each SmugMug album as a lightbox image. For other images on the site, I disabled this by adding
Code: Select all
<a class="no-thumb"...

Is there somewhere I can add this in one of the php files possibly? OR get the shortcode to recognize it?

I am not sure how adding "no-thumb" works, but if you believe it does, you can open wp-content/plugins/photonic/extensions/Photonic_SmugMug_Processor.php. You will see the code there to generate the <a> tags - you can add the class there. If it works let me know - I will add this as a core option in the next version.

Sadly, I've already done that. I try not to bother people. It did not work.

If you'll go to the link in my previous post and click on an album, you'll see what it's trying to do.

Maybe, if possible, I can add the gallery with html instead of shorcode? Let me know.

When I look at your site I am not seeing "no-thumb" anywhere. Are you sure you have added this to all the <a> tags in that file? There is more than one.

I'm sorry. I only found one in Photonic_SmugMug_Processor.php

And I added it on line 159

Ok. The links work now but now there's no image. I assumed that would happen. I'm just trying to let the image of the album actually LINK to the album instead of trying to open a lightbox of the thumbnail.

Now I need to get the images back and maintain active/working links.

Is there a possible way to add the SmugMug gallery via HTML on a page versus Shortcode?

I didn't understand your question. A shortcode evaluates into full HTML. If you want to store the HTML content with the post, then no, that cannot be done within Photonic.

Ok. I'm going to change your php file back to normal. Then, if you could please look at our photo page again and give me a suggestion as what to do that would be very appreciated.
