Blog Title is Not Formatting Properly

My blog title is having problems in IE8. The title appears framed and with a leading x box. Font is very small. The title works properly in FF. large font which is properly displayed across the top of the page. How can this be fixed in IE8.

You have set your header foreground to use an image, but you have not specified any image for it. Either use an image or change the type to text.

One last question - can the logo (jpeg) file I installed in the top right of the background image incorporate a link to the website. this is the EOS circle logo.

The background image cannot be linked to another page, but the foreground image can. You might want to consider making an image with both, the text and the "EOS" logo, and set that as the foreground image.

still not totally clear about link within the foreground. the way I understand is the following: there are 4 choices - header background (currently my circle logo), header foreground (currently not being used?), blog title ((eos virtual office and outsourcing news), and blog description (the dawn of the third space....).

You are telling me to use foreground with logo and link to go to another site. But the header customization limits me to predefined vs text and a foreground image link. Can I code the image link to also target another website address?

Actually there are three concepts:
1. Header background - an image (or blank), that cannot be linked to. Think of it like a page background, except that it applies to the header.
2. Header foreground - this could either be a text link (containing the blog title) or an image link to the blog.
3. Description - always a text

See this site: http://www.indiebit.net/ . The "ib" in the circle is actually the logo (foreground), linking to the blog. The rest of the stuff you see in the header is the background (including the text, which is actually a part of the background image). There is no description here.
