unintended html displaying in comments section since 3.6.3

Between the comment box and "submit comment" button it now reads "You may use these HTML tags and attributes: <a href="" title=""> <acronym title=""> <b> <blockquote cite=""> <cite> <code> <del datetime=""> <em> <i> <q cite""> <strike> <strong>

I am not sure where this code comes from or why it is now visible? I cant find it in my comments settings?
It shows on every page and post except home page (as it doesn't have comments section)

I'm getting the same thing and I've noticed this on the aquoid site as well. I'd like to remove it.

the comment-form now allows HTML

this text is printed in the class form-allowed-tags, so you may hide this class by CSS in the Custom Includes.

What exactly would add to the CSS custom includes to stop this from displaying?

As I do not use Comments I must speculate, but

Code: Select all
.form-allowed-tags {visibility:hidden;display:none;}

test that and try to learn a little CSS, it might help ;)

That did it. Thank you.

PS, I have been learning CSS. Part of learning is asking others for help. ;-)

I am very new to all of this so bear with me. I have tried inserting this code into custom includes and it does not work. There is some code that is already in there (put in by another person helping with the blog)...but I just went down to the bottom of the code, hit enter, and pasted the code in and it does not work. When there was no other code in there and I pasted it, it did work.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

One of your CSS tags is not closed, i.e. it is missing the "}". The tag is .wp-caption. Add the "}" and you will be fine.
