Hi again,
I noticed that when I set the comment option to "Don't show trackbacks and pingbacks", the response count on the main page always shows "No responses" even when there are comments present. Clicking the individual post also shows "No responses to [post title]" but then the comments underneath as normal.
Can you investigate?

This is working fine for me. Can you point me to the URL where you are experiencing this issue? Did you modify any of the PHP files associated with the theme?

Other modes are OK. I have not modified any of the PHP files. I have turned off Trackbacks and Pingbacks. Here is an example where I have added a test comment, but it says "No responses":

It also shows "No responses" on the home page as well...

Interesting. Can you try adding another test comment to this post and see if this changes? I don't see anything in the code that appears wrong. Maybe I am missing something.

Thanks - if it helps, on the Dashboard Edit Comments page, the little speech bubble on the right with the number of comments also shows zero... weird.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I have found and incorporated a fix for this. Since version 2.5.5 will probably not be live until Tuesday, I would advise you to use one of the other modes in the interim (since they work).
