Body & side bar widths?

Postby ckw » 10 Dec 2009, 09:09

Hello, and first I want to say thank you for making what on my blog looks like a neat, clean and down right nifty theme. :)
I'm liking it quite a bit except that I can't figure out how to change the whole width of the page (I'm using firefox 3.5.5).
I would like very much to make the whole page narrower (say with the body & the 1sidebar maybe 825 max?) could you please point me in the right direction to do this (I'm not good at css & things but I'm willing to tinker to make it the way I'd like it).
I don't know if you need the blog but it's corsetkitten.com/blog

Any help (worded for the non-computer or css savvy) would be well & truly appreciated! :D

Go to Suffusion Theme Options, click on Sizes and Margins, then for the option "Overall Page Width" select "Custom width, but constructed from individual components ". Set the widths that you want.

Thank you! :D
That was exactly what I needed to know--the only problem with the theme is that there are so many options to it it can be easy to miss little bits like that. Again though, really wonderful work on it and I love it! Thank you for taking the time to make it!

I like the oxymoron, if you please - "the only problem with the theme is that there are so many options" :-)

Heheh. And of course it isn't really a problem at all--it is marvelous to have so many options--and that you have made it very easy to change and customize the theme into something that is wanted. :D :D
