Inserting Pictures to individual posts

As with the many other posts I have read across the forum, well done on the theme. It's by far the best and most comprehensive I have found. I'm completely new to Wordpress and blogging so I'm hoping this theme will help me greatly.

I'm still having difficulty with some functions but will continue to look around for the answers across the forums. One thing I cannot find though is how to upload pictures. Obviously this is a standard Wordpress function, but I'm wondering if your theme impacts this, I cannot seem to select the thumbnail size of the picture. The only option is to select full size.

Is this something I should search the Wordpress forums about?

The WordPress forums are better suited for this kind of a question. Typical trouble spots are some plugins that mess with standard functionality

I think I may have found a long winded way around it by uploading pictures to an online picassa account. That way, I can upload all my photos there and simply link to the image. I just need to ensure I use the same format size each time to keep some consistency.
