500px not available after upgrade

I have upgraded Photonic to 1.05 and since the upgrade I can no longer access my 500px gallery. http://fotos-espana.com

Any thoughts?

Any chance of putting the earlier versions in the repository?

Colin,
This doesn't have anything to do with the upgrade. Here is why:
1. I checked this a couple of weeks ago on both, my demo site and your site - both sites did not have it available.
2. I have been hitting the API call from the browser and getting no response. Even the URL when accessed directly from their site was not accessible. I even tweeted to them and received no response.
3. Another user pointed me to a URL that was working with the latest version: http://aquoid.com/news/2011/10/photonic ... mment-3454

So I took another look and solved the mystery. 500px changed its API URL from HTTP to HTTPS and failed to notify the developers. After switching to HTTPS things are working on the demo site. I will release an update to fix this.

Thanks Sayontan I will wait for 1.07 or can I do an edit now. I tried changing the http to https in Photonic_500px_Processor.php do I need to change it anywhere else as it still isn't functioning?

I think I have found the issue

By default the plugin inserts

But if I edit it and remove the user_id call it works fine.

Also the previous settings are not shown if you go and edit the 500px options in the plug-in.

I tried this out and I am not seeing the issue you report. Basically when I insert using the UI, I enter either the user_id or the user_name fields (not both), and then the short-code insertion happens fine.

Also I didn't follow the point on the settings being preserved - do you mean your options got reset? Including your Consumer API Key?

The second issue, sequence to re-create

Create a page.
Use the plugin to generate the Photonic short code in design view.
Save the page. Exit and view
Realize that you wanted larger thumbnails
Edit page
In design view (visual not html) click on the image outline on the page and then click the edit button top left
Select Photonic
Select 500px

Now there are no previous settings displayed and you have to re-enter the lot.

It's annoying rather than a show stopper.

I do say "Either User ID or User Name is required if Feature is user-specific". Maybe I should reword it slightly.

I will have to investigate a solution for this - it might be too complex a fix for too simple a task.

Twen, the current version of the Photonic plugin is now at V1.07. It works fine with my gallery on 500px. It was 500px who made the change and they didn't tell developers about it. This is what caused the problem. Sayontan fixed the issue in 1.06 and it is still working fine now.
