Hmm. Much of this discussion is over my head as I don't know the first thing about php, aside from being able to perform the suggested code fix, but it appears I'm at the same spot pmkelly was at the time of last post, sans test page.
Any further ideas?

Yes, sorry that is my mistake. It has been fixed in 3.2.3 (not yet released). You can go back and download 3.2.0 if you want.
