We need a little more detail to help you. For instance do you want four equal width columns? do you want 2 narrow columns followed by a wide column with content followed by another narrow column or what?

What do you want in each column? If it is only 4 columns of content use the Magazine template or the Custom Layout template. However, if you want some of the columns with widgets in that will be more challenging.

As I said earlier a complete description and if possible a mock up of what you want will enable us to help you more.

I'm not seeing a newspaper type layout... which/where do I go to get 4 cols???

Get default sidebar layout
0 (Zero) - Get "No Sidebars" settings
1 Left - Get "1 Left Sidebar" settings
1 Right - Get "1 Right Sidebar" settings
1 Left, 1 Right - Get "1 Left, 1 Right Sidebar" settings
2 Left - Get "2 Left Sidebars" settings
2 Right - Get "2 Right Sidebars" settings

The magazine template uses posts of your selection to create the columns and so you need to have the content generated first.

Create a page and then assign it the magazine template, you select this on the right side of the page it is in the normal place and will have the default template assigned unless you change it. PUT NO CONTENT on this page at the moment.

Go to Suffusion Options > Templates > Magazine and set your options there.

Once you have this configuration done then go back and view the page you created above.

If it doesn't give you the look you want go to Suffusion Options > Templates > Custom Layout and set your options there.

You can also do some different layouts by going to Suffusion Options > Layouts > Layout: Excerpt/ List / Tile / Mosaic / Full and then chose your options here. For your four columns, whether you want thumbnails, full or excerpt content etc.

Ok... I see where I can set addition options on the page I created...but I'm not seeing the "magazine" template situation. Can you help with that?? do I need to give you access??

Thanks for helping me make sense of this.
