I don't know what I did trying to fix the distortion with the images used in magazine's excerpts but now all the images are distorted on the posts. I understand that you need to disable the height function of the images - I think - how do I do that?

You have inserted your photos with an explicit height attribute. One option is to avoid doing that.
Otherwise you could go to Other Graphical Elements -> Miscellaneous -> Image Aspect Ratio, and enable the preservation of the aspect ratio.
