Cant change active background color

Im trying to remove the blue, background color over home but I can't seem to do it (I will also do this for the other active links on the other pages)/

I have identified that the respective elements are:-

current_page_item and the 'a' is 'current' however I've tried various CSS options like specifying the back-color as white or changing the background image, but I cant seem to get it right.. Please help

You do this easily with the appropriate options in Suffusion Options > Skinning > (then whichever menu you are using) select custom settings and then select your colours and fonts etc. No need to mess with any code.

Thanks, however there is no option there.

I've changed all colours to white and still nothing.

Can I suggest that you check again particularly the 'highlighted' settings as this works perfectly for me and there have never been any complaints about this not working in the past. Try setting the background to transparent instead of white as you have a white background.

However the words 'Home' have now disappeared... How do I make them visible again?

Change the font color for all states in the options to be black or whatever colour that you want.
