Great theme! I've managed to figure out how to change most of the things I wanted to change, But there's a few that I just can't seem to figure out?

1. How do I change the font color and size of the post byline? for example... the "posted by, date and comments

2. How do I add comment count to tile layout?

3. How do I change the comment byline from "add comments" to the number of comments for that post? for example... 1 comment(s)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'll take this one step further:

What file is responsible for the pull-out byline in single post pages?

I am asking because I want to add a header for each taxonomy:

I.E. Category appears above the post's categories, Tags appears above the post's tags, etc.

Also, is it possible to change the icon of each custom taxonomy? They all show the same icon and I'd like to customize each one individually. (Something to consider adding to the custom post types options where we can choose which bylines to show.)

I've discover that it is the file pullout.php that calls the function suffusion_add_taxonomy_bylines_pullout in order to display the custom taxonomies.

Question is: Where is this defined? It doesn't appear in functions.php or actions.php.

All I want to do is add a header for each set of taxonomies being shown... can any one help?

1: you can do with custom CSS in Suffusion Options > Back-End > Custom Includes > Custom Styles

You will need something like

Code: Select all
.postdata.line {font-size:16px;}

Alter the 16px to suit.

2 and 3 are outside my knowledge so you will need Sayontan to answer.

But how would I add the text Category above the name of the category the post belongs to?

How would I put the text Tags above the tags shown?

How would I put the name of the custom taxonomies the post belong to above the taxonomies shown?

As it is, the post will show Hyundai where it shows the taxonomies the post belongs to but I want it to say: Manufacturer: Hyundai.

Also, how do I customize the icon shown for each custom taxonomy? Right now that all use the same icon and I want it to be different for each.

I will have to provide you with a filter for that. None exists currently.

Each icon gets its own CSS classes in this manner: ".tags .icon". Depending on which taxonomy you want to set the icon for, you can do so in the CSS by using the right class.

Thank you for the answers!

I hope those filters can sneak their way into the next update then, otherwise my site will have to wait!

Thanks for pointing out the CSS!
