At Skinning -> Navigation Bar Above (or Below) Header you can choose whatever colors you need for menus, but you will need to choose colors for individual items, you can't replace an entire color scheme.
Did try to mimic, but the menu border look extra thick. Both nav and menu borders are set to 1 px, but when it displays on the site, the menu borders look like 2 px instead of 1 like the nav border. It also look like the menu box is sitting on top of navigation border.
