Need a Little Extra Room in the Magazine Theme

Postby aagblog » 30 Apr 2012, 13:41

We're working on a very (very!) rough test site, here:

http://crankyenlightenment.com/

Client wants a shadow effect around each individual category block and each excerpt block. That part I can handle -- there's a sample shadow in place now, just for illustrative purposes. Screenshot here, in case the location is unclear: http://crankyenlightenment.com/wp-conte ... itness.png

My problem is that the shadow gets cut off on the right-hand side. Is there something I can do to prevent this?

Try to add this code at Suffusion Options -> Backend -> Custom Includes -> Custom Styles (append width and float where you have defined box-shadow):
Code: Select all
.suf-mag-category, .suf-mag-excerpt, .suf-tile {
width: 420px;
float: left !important;
}

In the previous block of code add also: margin-right:6px !important;

That helped! But I still feel like it's cut off on the right.

Do you think it is? Or am I just seeing things?

Do you add the last line of code too? I still see 12px instead of 6.

If I do that, then the boxes are all different sizes. Is this right?
