Okay here is my current header, and I'd like to add a sort of background to it that stops where the blue line is. Is there a way to do this? I have had a look around and I can't find anything at all about this.

There are an entire section about the header background at Suffusion Options -> Skinning -> Header, starting with the second option......

I have got the following but I'm looking for something that will fill the whole area, rather than leave a border around it. Not sure if it's possible in the settings though?

You chooses to have the header inside the wrapper, so, what you see isn't a border it is the wrapper itself. At Suffusion Options -> Other Graphical Elements -> Header -> Header Layout Style you can choose between more options - maybe "Header is outside the main wrapper, its background and contents are aligned with the main wrapper" can fit your needs.

Sweet, cheers Drake! Think I'll have a play about and get a graphic made up the right size and see what happens!
